As an additional footnote of sorts to Ccru's 'Who's Pulling Your Strings?', this from Zizek...(well he might be a decadent western intellectual ;-), but he has one or two things to say pertinent to hyperstition):
'... [w]hen we are confronted with conspiracy theories, we should proceed in a strict homology to the proper reading of Henry James' The Turn of the Screw. We should neither accept the existence of ghosts as part of the narrative reality nor reduce them, in a pseudo-Freudian way, to the projection of the heroine's hysterical sexual frustrations.
Conspiracy theories are of course not to be accepted as 'fact'. However one should not reduce them to the phenomenon of modern mass hysteria. Such a notion still relies on the "big Other," on the model of "normal" perception of shared social reality, and thus does not take into account how it is precisely this notion of reality that is undermined today. The problem is not that ufologists and conspiracy theorists regress to a paranoid attitude unable to accept (social) reality; the problem is that this reality itself is becoming paranoiac. Contemporary experience again and again confronts us with situations in which we are compelled to take note of how our sense of reality and normal attitude towards it is grounded in a symbolic fiction - how the "big Other" that determines what counts as normal and accepted truth, what is the horizon of meaning in a given society, is in no way directly grounded in the "facts" as rendered by scientific "knowledge in the real".

MY PRIVATE Notes.Peeter Treijar,Rouge tee 3-8,Haanja village,Rouge village community,Voru County,Estonia,E.U. ”Real persecution or not?”Throughout this very summer i was followed by the same man ,sometimes he was in his blue-black-white car 159 mck-sometimes even four taimes per day he followed me or waited me in distant here in Haanja village.The mans name is Vitali,he is 48 years old refugee from Ukraine,Crimean tatar(successor of Khan of Crimea)by nationality from East Ukraine where he spent 20 jears in jail,like for robbery of cars in Germany as he told and like he is doctor-traumatologist and former polkovnik of special forces of USSR.He lives in former flat of Mrs.Kersti Puura in Rouge tee 3-8,Haanja village,Estonia and now like moved to Germany.His friends here in Haanja is my another neighbour Jaan Hassberg who soon moves again to Sweden,Mr.Heinart Kalk(a veteran of SMERTCH unite in Grodno,Byelorussia like one another man from Haanja village-Lembit Uba))),his son Vitali and somebody Russian businessman Sergei who sometimes followed me here in Haanja village.He is orthodox Christmas with hidden islam sympathies as he told and this summer he visited Klaipeda in Lithuania for admireing warships of Navy Us.Besides it he told me like l minght work as translator(where,why.?) ,if i sall not agree not to work for him he pomised to kill or to imprison me-I agreed not to work for him or for somebody-something...In 29.09.2022 he asked me again 10 euro and robbed my bag with foodstaff I just bought from local grocers of Haanja village and asked then extra 10 euros proovidega intimicy-i refusd because i practiced 29 years celibacy and i am an handicap man who ma not walk and work physically too much...Name of his daughter-in- las is KATE as she introduced hetkel in perfekt English here in Haanja village in summer 2022.Peeter Treijar,Rouge tee3-8,Haanja village,Estonia,E.U.04.10.2022...15.42p.m local time P.S.These were my writeing exercises and tending to be neutral meditations...Actually Amazon homme skillfully these former polkovniks et owners of higgher military degrees of like that ukrainian-tatarian refugee-polkovnik Vitali uued their forme sovit taimes privilegeeritud for gaining money and another riches-when he arrived to Haanja village,Estonia he was absoluutselt poor man whom i present 100(one hundred)euros from my modest pension as for refugee at all,like to refugee no mutter of which country,nationality or ideology...then that refugee Vitali present to me five pages of made by him for me dictionary of prisoners of Ukraine (written by his hand) and teie to sell me blue-yelloww jungsters bicycle,a teleskope,German helmet and coin with image of V.I.Lenin but i refused to buy these items he provided to me ...besides it that polkovnik Vitali asked from me serveril taimes 50 euroe,20 euros or 10 euros but i gave to him onely 10 euros two taimes this summer because that he is stringe of me and has rich experiense of bull-fighting he obtained durig 20 years in Ukrainian piison...besides it he took from my plastik bag lang drink,Apple sider and rum for my coctail withou my will an ia algas very hackleing and imperatiiv astang from me and another Haanja villagers different questions and trying to give different commandes...it is probably former habit of Soviet taimes mayors and polkovnik et..
